No Late-Season Magic Coming: Twin Cities Out of Playoffs
Fans in Twin Cities may been holding onto a glimmer of hope, but that has now been officially snuffed out -- the River Monsters were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today.

"It's a tough day for everyone in the Twin Cities River Monsters organization," owner Robin Wells told reporters. "We will just have to come back stronger."

This is the 1st time in a row that the River Monsters have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2037.

Valencia Clinches Wild Card
It's time to start thinking about the playoffs for the Valencia Stars.

The Frick League Pacific Division club today secured a wild card berth, which shortstop Ángel Zalapa said is something the club is "extremely proud of," even though they had hoped to win the division.

With a record of 86-73, the Stars won't be going into the playoffs as favorites, but Zalapa said he believes the Stars have a good chance to bring home the franchise's 1st Landis Memorial Series.

No Late-Season Magic Coming: Calgary Out of Playoffs
Calgary Pioneers manager Terry Cochran said his club came "agonizingly close" to making the playoffs. But close won't be good enough this year, as the Pioneers have now been officially ousted from contention.

The Pioneers have missed the playoffs 26 times in their 43 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2034. In the last 10 seasons, the Pioneers have missed the playoffs 3 times. Calgary last won the Landis Memorial Series in 2021.

Edmonton Narrowly Wins Frick League Frontier Division
The Edmonton Jackrabbits are heading to the postseason, with a narrowly-won Frick League Frontier Division championship on their resume.

"Nobody made it easy for us, but we kept pushing forward until we got it done," said third baseman Steven Collins III. "We're battle-tested and ready for the playoffs now."

The club's record sits at 93-68 and it is their 2nd division title. The team will now be seeking its 1st Brewster Baseball Association championship.

Pearls Captures Wild Card: Although they may be heading to the postseason as wild card winners, there's no shortage of expectation on the Manama Pearls.
