To be clear, I'm not sure that's what happens anymore (my version where the PO is voided if you get to the TO and decline it). I'm just assuming it is. It once was. I've never had one of these deals myself.

Re: Buyout question
We let GM's do stupid shit like a Team Option followed by a Player Option to game the game, but we can't wait 3 days to let Kyle cool down. Priorities....We need good GM's not GM's that game the game. I have no use for GM's gaming the game. I have use for Kyle cause he Is very competitive without gaming the game.

Re: Buyout question
Bite me. I wasnt gaming the game. I wasnt smart enough with contracts then (and probably still now but I at least ask for thoughts from others now) to game the game.Bumstead wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 9:15 pmWe let GM's do stupid shit like a Team Option followed by a Player Option to game the game, but we can't wait 3 days to let Kyle cool down. Re: Buyout question
Whatever you say Goat Boy. That wasn't my main point but if the shoe fits, it probably is yours. That type of deal has been made illegal in shitty leagues. The fact that this league allows it to happen just laughs in the face of how great y'all think this league is.GoldenOne wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 9:28 pmBite me. I wasnt gaming the game. Re: Buyout question
You can make arguments that this practice shouldn't be allowed (as plenty have both here and in other threads) without getting personal.

Re: Buyout question
Kyle wasn't wrong and removing him is not the remedy to the league. The GM's that are gaming the game and crapping on other GM's are the problem. I can go to war if that's what's chosen. So far I've been nice about it.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2019 10:32 pmYou can make arguments that this practice shouldn't be allowed (as plenty have both here and in other threads) without getting personal.

Kyle was not removed. He resigned.

Boot the "Gaming the Gamers." Would you like me to name them?
Plus you could have given it time. He's not some fly-by GM. A couple of week wouldn't have hurt Huntsville.

Re: Buyout question
FYI we (as a GB) worked just as hard to keep kyle as we did keep the multiple others who were considering quitting before staying, so know your facts befort spouting off ill-informed opinions. We can not please everyone and if you know kyle as well as you claim to, you would know that once he makes his mind up on something it is awfully hard to get him to change it.

Re: Buyout question
I'm locking this thread. After the activities of this past weekend I think we as a league need to more carefully monitor and regulate the personal type attacks (that I know I have been guilty of on occasion). My initial question was answered and I thank those who contributed to that.
