Elliot Buckland Hurt, Out for Year
Elliot Buckland of the Outlaws just might have to call it quits for the season. The 30-year-old San Antonio starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Las Vegas Hustlers recently at The Tap Room. Buckland suffered a damaged elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. The Outlaws medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13 months.

This season Buckland has a 1-3 record with a 4.05 ERA.

2-4. Swept by Brooklyn at home but at least I managed to take 2 of 3 from New Orleans. Losing Wu-han Liu for almost 2 months stinks though.

0-5 believe that officially gives me the worst record in league. Miserable season, thought it would be rough never dreamed it being this bad. Think we are making positive strides but not necessarily on the field.

If only I had a plan for replacing Baez, Nunez, and possibly Behner (he has an opt-out), I'd feel much better about the future of the franchise. Still, there is a real possibility that we will be able to make another playoff appearance despite turning over 6 of 9 starting hitters the last 2 years.
