The Brewster

Hey....this one should be a great issue, with the addition of the UMEBA and all that. This will be our 65th anniversary edition, so it should be great fun. But I've got a small problem ....

As luck would have it, this year's off-season will fall smack in the middle of a very busy writer's workshop I go to. As such, while I figure I'll be able to put the piece together, and format and whatnot, my actual writing time will be quite limited. So, to be blunt, I need material. Lots and lots of material. I can use about anything league related (newbies/UMEBA folks can check out some of the old issues for examples, but don't feel constrained!):

• Silly Articles
• Stupid Stories
• Fun Newsy Blurbs
• Poems, limiricks, odes, sonnets, freeform verse
• Analytical Claptrap
• League rumors
• Studies of Key positions
• News from UMEBA (actually, I'd love to have a league projection from one of those on the inside like Ted/Aaron do for BBA)
• Historical Look-backs
• Pet Peeve bitches
• Pet Peeve Great Memories
• Stories about your players
• Stories about your fans
• Stories about _other_ teams' fans
• Rivalry starters
• Articles on OOTP neep
• Rundowns on managers in a division/league/universe (BBA/UMEBA)
• The best trainers...or a trip to the trainer's table...or.
• Stories about your broadcasters, or an Offie piece (eh, Ted?)

You get the idea. Bottom line: most years I can fill in cracks when material is a little skinny, but this year I need help. And, oh, yeah, remember, I've got a PPT checkbook and a pen, and I know how to use them both.

I can help with the UMEBA, this is my only league so I have some free time.

I haven't gotten a piece since my birthday....wait....what?

Work is killing me....not sure I can contribute before Sim #1...

I will be giving you a piece on the top/bottom 10 Z scores of all time that you can add your comments on (kind of like you did for the pitching). I will try and get that to you with the spreadsheet I used this weekend so you can have time to play with it.
