Noboru Socks 300th HR
Jacksonville third baseman David Noboru blasted himself into an elite group of baseball players. Today he joined the exclusive 300 home run club in the Hurricanes 5-4 loss to the Charm City Jimmies.

"As soon as I hit it, I knew it was gone. I was happy to move on. Now I can go and have some fun. It is a weight lifted off my shoulders," Noboru told the press. He admitted just how much pressure he had been feeling. "Especially every time you'd get out of the hotel, everybody would say, 'Hey, when are you going to hit it?'"

In his milestone game, Noboru went 2 for 4 with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored.

Noboru has a lifetime .314 average and .352 on-base percentage in his career with 1437 hits, 243 doubles, 44 triples, 301 home runs, 786 RBIs and 815 runs scored.

Valencia Stars Mathematically Out of Playoffs
Even the most glass-half-full fans have likely already given up on the 2037 season for the Valencia Stars. The team clinched a rough year today, being mathematically eliminated from postseason contention.

The Stars have missed the playoffs 30 times in their 42 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2022.

Hawaii Tropics fans have long since given up any meager playoff hopes. The Tropics made it official today, becoming mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason.

The Tropics have missed the playoffs 32 times in their 42 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2026. Hawaii last won the Landis Memorial Series in 2025.
