My "Open to All" JL All-Star Ballot:

Lots of tough calls here. Possibly the most outrageous one I've taken is Fairborn at SS over Ramirez...but every time I looked at it, I kept seeing that insane +13 ZR in half a year, and figured the fans had to see that happen.

My Open FL All-Star Ballot:

Again, some interesting calls. Djuretic is on the DL, but I voted for him anyway. Had a great season until the injury. I figure my bigger homer vote is McKinney...but I can justify it with wOBa and WRC+, so I'll not lose any sleep over it. We'll see what folks say.

Well...you fucked up the JL double play duo, Ron

Obviously should be the Aviator combo of Sparky and Mirror.

Other than that, not bad...

Here I was all excited thinking I was having some great individual seasons from some of my guys and then Ron goes and bursts my bubble. So I dig to try and prove him wrong and..... I can't.

Best argument I can make is Mick over Moreland.

Raider picked a bad time to go from 2nd in the FL in WAR to 5th.

It took Cisco moving to another league for Sim to finally get a decent shot at the starting the All-Star game... lol.

Also, Caleb Benvides? WTH? I guess I gave up on him way too early (5 seasons - :banghead:)

i will say you have lost your damn mind putting mckinney over maldonado. Mckinney has had a great rookie season so far, but when you factor in the total package he is not better than maldonado and it isnt even really a discussion.

Michael Best hurts. That 100 win season really made me make some bad decisions. :furious:

Player A: .305/.384/.597
Player B: .308/.364/.614

looks close enough for there to be a discussion...

Nah he didn't have him long. I drafted him and really liked him. But figured to compete I had to trade him after paying Winson. It is what it is.

Player A: 1/2 SB, 170 Total Bases, 64.6 RC, 8.15 RC/27, -2.1 ZR, 2.6 WAR worthless against same side pitching (.143/.280/.190) making him strictly a platoon player.
Player B: 20/23 SB, 199 TB, 76.3 RC, 8.54 RC/27, +1.7 ZR, 3.5 WAR, .295/.345/.462 against same side pitching, making him a viable every day player.

If im going to take a platoon guy over an everyday player there has to be a significant difference. There isnt here.

We have to make tough decisions all the time, and sometimes we end up regretting them. I do like that he now plays in the same infield as Sloan Daniel, who was picked just 4 spots higher in the same draft class.
