All well and good Ron but I haven’t got the two to three hours required to reorganise the entire team from top to bottom before Sunday and can he fix the fact that the negotiate with draftees now say the last chance to sign them was a few days ago ? The calendar on the top right of the manager’s page is up the creek too, it thinks that opening day is tomorrow. We could gloss over this yes but then it might come back to bite us later on through something we haven’t noticed yet. Far better in my opinion to nip this in the bud and rewind while it is only seven days rather than discover a major snaffu weeks, months later or perhaps when we reach the playoffs? Imagine if we don’t reward and find out that when we reach playoff time the file is corrupted enough not to calculate the matchups correctly?

Nige, Matt has already stated that he's going to try and re-do this sim. Just hang tight.

Sorry Stephen, I was aiming at Ron lol more than anybody else. I was already a bit wound up though about missing the sim deadline after doing a lot of work on the lower minors and this was the final straw. I’m not mad honest, feel sorry for Matt though, all the extra work. That’s what we pay our commish for though 😏

Just noting, I don't think I've even commented in the thread!

I haven't seen Matt make a public comment on a re-sim, but I know he's looking at it now to see what's feasible. It appears that a lot of teams got automatically managed throughout the entire sim, and I'm guessing he'll resim if he can. I'm feeling reluctant to lobby for or against a re-sim, as we finally did go 5-2, but lost Ernesto Ramos to a big injury. So even with the winning sim, I'd love to get that back. :)

Overall, though, Nigel is right in that this sim being oddly put on auto-manage has created some not inconsiderable problems.

Does anyone know how to get the last file back or have a copy of the previous file? I'd like to get an export in if I have time to.

Damn it Ron....

I think he was referring to Kyle. He told us to take a breath. I refused to take a breath up until now...that was painful and my head turned purple... :bag:

Okay, Nigel. Mixing me up with Ron just took our division rivalry up to an 11. Expect steel spikes sliding into second next time we play. ;)

I've got one. Tell me what you want done, and I can do it.

Matt said he is re-importing, so your old export should be fine.

I don't have an old export. So I was hoping to get the file and make the adjustments I need in the minors because my minors are going to be auto'd regardless. He can keep the strike for me missing and I won't touch my ML team. Just want my minors right and I do have a guy I want to send to rehab.

How come in game it says that "opening day" is tomorrow on schedule?

Edit: Never mind I saw the thread on "ping:commish" saying there lots of problems with the export. Actually, I just exported not knowing that there would be a resim. So, does that just get disregarded?

"Opening Day" I believe is the UMEBA opening day.

For your export, it won't take for the sim because of the wrong date. Though that does mean that your old export is likely overwritten. If there was anything major changed, then you may want to Ping:Commish about it. Or Ron may be able to send you the old file and you can re export before Matt sims.

I can email anyone a backup set of dates files as needed. Just send me your email if needed.
