I screwed up my rotation. If this goes to seven, you get to launch homers off Cisco Morales in game seven.

That series drove me to drink (I'm not joking, I was following along at a bar and ordered another round as it slipped away).

That being said, Feliciano Rafael is a golden god for that game 7 performance. Looking forward to the FLP vs JLA final.

Ted I already told you this, but congrats on a helluva series and season. Anytime you give up 21 runs in a 7 game series you should not lose....

Congrats to Randy and congrats/condolences to Ron. You clearly had the better team this year and it's just luck that it's Long Beach advancing instead of the Nine.

Since it's stuck on me winning some game with Dempster, I can only assume that I won the series.

Gamblers Advance to Cartwright Cup
The Atlantic City Gamblers will continue the trek towards a Landis Memorial Series title, while the Jacksonville Hurricanes are headed home for the season.

Atlantic City won the Doubleday Series with a clinching game 3-0 victory at Fidelity Financial Park, concluding the series at 4-2.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Alfredo Salazar said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .389 batting average, .542 on-base percentage, 2 home runs, 3 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Atlantic City Gamblers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Vegas Hustlers - Rockville Pikemen series. Rockville leads the series 3 games to 2.

Long Beach Win Doubleday Series
The Doubleday Series didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the last game.

But the Long Beach Surfers are no doubt pleased by the results, as they have knocked out the Yellow Springs Nine 4-2 to advance to the Cartwright Cup.

"It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Surfers shortstop J.J. McQuade. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire."

Long Beach won the final game by a score of 8-4 at Utopia Field.

McQuade was named series MVP after hitting .591 with a .625 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Long Beach Surfers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the California Crusaders - San Fernando Bears series. San Fernando leads the series 3 games to 2. The Cartwright Cup is scheduled to begin on October 23rd, 2036.

Rockville Takes Doubleday Series in Deciding Game
Rockville Pikemen won a nail-biting series against the Las Vegas Hustlers 4-3, wrapping up the Doubleday Series finale 12-5 at Owen's Ordinary.

Pikemen first baseman Mario Guerrer was named the series MVP.

He batted .467, drove in 11 runs and scored 4 to lead Rockville into the next round of play.

"Mario was real solid for us, real solid," said Pikemen manager Chet Rouse. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Rockville Pikemen will play against the Atlantic City Gamblers in the next round. Atlantic City won their series against the Jacksonville Hurricanes 4 games to 2. The Cartwright Cup is scheduled to begin on October 23rd, 2036. .

Bears Prevail, as Doubleday Series Goes to the Wire
Depending on your loyalties, the Doubleday Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.

The series went down to its final game, with the San Fernando Bears and the California Crusaders giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Bears came out on top, winning 2-1 at South Pacific Field today to take the series 4-3.

"We're lucky to be going into the Cartwright Cup," said San Fernando pitcher Jared Gillstrom. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."

Gillstrom earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .357 average, with 4 home runs, 5 RBI and 7 runs scored.

The San Fernando Bears will play against the Long Beach Surfers in the next round. Long Beach won their series against the Yellow Springs Nine 4 games to 2. The Cartwright Cup is scheduled to begin on October 23rd, 2036.
