I hear Eduardo López is tightening the screws in his left elbow in preparation for potentially throwing out the first pitch in Game 3 of the Landis.
Seriously, this would be a great story if they win. Everyone killed those two deals. They laughed at what ATC would become at the end of it. And now, in year 5 they are in the Cartwright. Win one for the underdogs Atlantic City.
The other big story here is... have we seen the last of the Yellow Springs dynasty? Chavez will be 35 next season, LaLoosh and McNeill have the most anticipated opt outs in recent memory, and De Castillo has been spotted with a realtor at Elvis's Graceland Mansion. Not saying YS9 will be garbage next season. They have a bunch of decent players still and would have the money to be aggressive in filling the holes. That's just a lot of star power to lose in one shot.
