New Orleans Out of Time, Out of Playoffs
The New Orleans Crawdads will have to play out the season without even the faintest glimmer of hope for a late-season playoff push. The club was mathematically eliminated today from postseason contention.

Before this season, the Crawdads last missed the playoffs in 2034. In the 41 years they have been a Brewster Baseball Association franchise, they have missed the playoffs 19 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 3 times. New Orleans has won the Landis Memorial Series 4 times in their history.

Talons Out of Time, Out of Playoffs
It certainly could have been worse this year for the Phoenix Talons, but that does not mean it was a season to remember. The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today.

This is the 1st time in a row that the Talons have missed the playoffs. Their last payoff appearance was in 2035.

No Playoff Berth Coming for Des Moines
It wasn't meant to be for the Des Moines Kernels this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today.

"It is a bad feeling," said Kernels right fielder Craig White. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that."

The Kernels have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 41 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 28th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2007. Des Moines last won the Landis Memorial Series in 2007.

The Math Says - Spuds Out of Playoffs
Ricardo Guzmán said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Boise Spuds after they missed the Brewster Baseball Association playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today.

This is the 2nd time in a row that the Spuds have missed the playoffs.

Johnson League Southeast Division Winner is Jacksonville Hurricanes
The pennant has been won, the Jacksonville Hurricanes are champions of the Johnson League Southeast Division.

Third Baseman David Noboru said his team is a "gritty and determined" club that were poised to win the division from day one.

"We knew the day the season opened that we'd be champions," he said. "It was just a matter of going out there and doing it."

At the helm, team manager Lothar Platzdasch said his club is certainly not short on confidence.

"There's a lot of belief in the dugout and in the clubhouse," he said.

Jacksonville's record currently sits at 92-62 and it's the 8th division win for the franchise.

Montreal Clinches Playoff Spot Despite Loss
The Montreal may have lost the battle at the ballpark today, but they won a big part of the war: they clinched a spot in the playoffs.

"It's certainly not how you picture it when you're a kid," said manager Kayne Grandage today after his Montreal Blazers clinched, despite his squad's loss to the Rockville.

"It was a little weird at first, kind of celebrating, kind of ... I don't know ..." Grandage trailed off musing the situation while in the clubhouse after the game. "But despite what happened today, we are a winning team and we earned this. It's not about what happened today, it's about how well this team has played all season long. The guys have fought hard all year long, and they really deserve the spot in the postseason. So yeah, we're definitely celebrating tonight."

If the fans felt any qualms about the circumstances, they sure didn't show it. Montreal Blazers faithful by the thousands hung around outside the stadium long after the game, cheering and celebrating into the night.

Postseason Bid Ends for Nashville
It wasn't meant to be for the Nashville Goats this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today.

"It is a bad feeling," said Goats closer José Luna. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that."

Nashville last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 32 times in their 41-year history.

California Crowned Kings of the Frick League Pacific Division
The manager of the California Crusaders said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's Frick League Pacific Division championship.

"This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," said Alberto Franco. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager."

It's the club's 12th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 4th Landis Memorial Series.

"We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Luis Gracía as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start."

Looks like a good result overall for us, though it sucks to see De La Cruz get hurt.

There will not be a 12th. The Plan® is ahead of schedule!! :hi5:
