"I couldn't be prouder of this team," said skipper, Quentin Richardson. "These guys worked their tails off all season long, so they've definitely earned this." However, the Hawks manager says he won't let his team rest on their laurels. "We've still got a long way to go to reach our ultimate goal and that's a championship trophy. I kept trying to say so last year. Acquiring him wasn't smart for the long run financially (he isn't expensive, but $4m+ could be used elsewhere, and him not here would have moved Rutledge to DH finally), but I was tired of watching him languish in purgatory, not getting playing time at all (not even as a PH), and not getting a shot elsewhere. Comeback player of the year?

And sorry about Crow. Thinking his career is finally done after that one.
