Rebuilding is fun (Jacksonville/Greenville was just as worse off as Nashville/Halifax), but in a league with a hard cap, trying to stay at the top for a long time is fun too! I'm getting to that point where the guys we relied on to win two titles are starting to get either too expensive or are at higher risk of falling off and I have to make the right choices on who stays and who goes over the next couple of offseasons. After finding a way to get all of them re-signed and under the cap while still fielding a competitive team three years ago.GoldenOne wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 10:46 amI like the Nashville challenge and The Plan® is ahead of schedule. The part that gives me the most angst though has been the stadium deal that was put in place right before taking over. Not as easy to dig out of that one.

The thing I like about Mexico City is that rather than a few superstars, you're built on a deep/wide group of very good and above average guys. That's actually hard to beat in any consistent way.

Aside to Fred - I know you kind of like the rain outs and whatnot, but I admit that I wonder how much Mexico City's lack of a roof affects your attendance, revenue, and fan interest.

No fair weather fans allowed! I've never actually considered this at all in all honesty. I think I'm gonna try to do a sim by sim weather/attendance tracker and see if there's a game by game difference.

I'm pretty sure there will be a difference. Though results are kind of fun, bad weather lowers attendance. Your gate revenue is quite low for a winning team... that's what set me on to it in the first place. Maybe go back over the box scores this year.
