Local Kid Helps Kamade Rediscover Old Stroke
Abdelwahab Kamade has always given back to his hometown community of Benoni, South Africa. That's why every offseason, he appears at a local baseball clinic to help young baseball players learn the game.

But this offseason, a student and fan became the teacher.

After Kamade showed 12-year-old Anthony Youngly the 'proper' batting stance and swing, Youngly responded by saying, "But that's not what you do!"

After the Nashville Goats center fielder laughed him off, Youngly pulled out his phone and pulled up an old video of Kamade taking an at bat just a couple of years earlier during a game.

After watching a few more videos, the surprised Kamade sheepishly admitted that the kid was right.

"My approach has noticeably changed since I came up in the league a few years ago. My swing has become shorter and isn't nearly as natural," Kamade said.

When asked what he planned to do after spring started, the CF was adamant.

"I want to get back to basics. It may have taken a local kid to pull me out of poor hitting mechanics but now I'll be working harder than ever to get back to where I once was. In the meantime, I'll be sending that kid a personal thank you and signing up to do a baseball clinic in Benoni, South Africa again next year," he said. "After all, who knows what I'll learn about myself."

Noboru Releases Swing Album
When not playing baseball in Jacksonville, David Noboru can usually be found singing in his swing band in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. "We first got together when we were in high school," Noboru said when asked about the origins of the band, "and this summer when we were playing at a local fair a producer saw us playing. He asked if we were interested in doing an album and and of course we said yes."

While music may not be as steady as baseball is, it's definitely a good thing to have options after retirement. You can now purchase the third baseman's album in stores across the nation.

Gutiérrez is only the second IFA I’ve ever signed. He was the only one I put a bid in on. I didn’t think I went high enough but it was all I had that I could offer. I love me some high CONTACT guys.
