Stop. For a bit. Offie has to write like six posts tonight. And I'm only halfway done catching up. And I have online gaming "commitments". The future is great. I like it here.

I think I’m on a record post count in my first year back again. I’m well on the way to at least 250 posts and I also think my 22 TN’s (at the moment) is also a record for me. I’ve really enjoyed this season

I've had a crazy season when it comes to posting. From June 15-July 27 I didn't make a single TN post. Was busy with real life... kids, vacations, etc... and just didn't have the desire to do much here in the league. Continued exporting was about it.

But over the past week I've had a flurry of TNs and posts. I've made about 14 TN posts this week and have been commenting on posts like crazy. I'm chalking it up to the fact I'm on my final days of Summer Vacation as a teacher and we ended up getting rid of our DirecTv after all. So rather than sit and watch tv while I'm bored at home I find myself commenting here more often.

Fictional OOTP universes are SOOO much more interesting than the 250+ channels of drivel available on my cable. I'm old and traditional, but I'm only days or weeks away from cutting the cable cord. We use Netflix more and more for watching TV. I cut the telephone land line cord years ago. I eliminated Facebook from my life a year back because of total disgust for Zuckerberg and his constant prattling and for his inconsistent attitudes about user privacy. I never knew I would so much enjoy being away from the political ranting that seems inevitable on FB (not to mention the incessant ads).

I got of FB back in December and have never looked back. Still keep twitter for sports information and have IG just for fun. Actually got off IG for about 6 months but got sucked back into that rabbit hole.

We've not missed cable yet and we are about 3 weeks in. We just watched Netflix shows right now. I was worried about missing some golf, especially the majors, but I managed to watch all of the British Open on the golf channel app and thus far I've watched Featured Groups in the PGA Championship through pgatour.com

I do worry about what I'll do on Sundays when NFL rolls around. I watch baseball through mlb.tv and a shared email/password with a friend.
