Just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know I will be stepping down as Blazers GM. It has been a long, long run with the team with varying levels of success and failure. A new job, and a daughter who plays on travel teams for hockey and rugby has left me with very little time for OOTP, and as a result of that I have lost some of the passion for it. I hope to return here in the future if everything works out. Been at this since v6.5 in many leagues but this one is by far the best one I have been in.

I wanted to thank Matt for all his hard work and for trying to find a way to keep me here. I approached Matt a couple of weeks ago about this and I really appreciate him trying to find a way to make this work for me.

Dang! Good luck John, I've enjoyed interacting with you over the years. I get it though, I'm in the exact same boat with two kids to run around. It's hard to find time to really give, and then it feels like you're letting everyone else down.

Hate to see ya go, John. You've been around for a long time but I understand your lack of time. As someone who has two sons playing travel baseball in the summer (not to mention I coach basketball in the winter and multiple baseball teams in the summer) I can see where the league loses your focus.

With that said, enjoy some time away from the game. Something tells me we'll see you again down the road.
