Bobby Lynch not even being on the nebraska ballot is criminal. He might not win (although he deserves serious consideration), but he would be on most ballots somewhere i imagine...

I don't totally disagree, but on the other hand, he's running third in the ROY...

counterpoint: he has the most 1st place votes there. Also i am not sure how mercado is ahead of him there (and i really like mercado, i tried to pry him from ted before the season started). Mercado had a very good year, but lynch was better in virtually every category except for games started, innings (and innings/game is virtually negligible, 6.77 for mercado and 6.72 for lynch) and wins (which is not exactly a fair comparison given the respective teams). If you think mercado had a better year simply because he made 4 more starts, when lynch was demonstrably better in the starts he did make, that is worth a discussion.

I voted for Lynch #1. Mercado was #4 on my ROY list.

i havent voted for any of the frick awards except for the silk yet (i want to get all of the teams in my pitching spreadsheet done before i do nebraska voting and still a few frick teams left. I felt confident that SA would not play a factor in the JL nebraska race so once i finished rockville i did those). I cant imagine lynch wont be #1 on my ROY ballot though.

i figured, because the irony of you voting for a pitcher based largely on wins is just too amusing for me to consider.

Yeah, can't believe Lynch is 3rd. He must have been left off a couple ballots

The Talons have boycotted the JL Reliever of the Year vote due to the disinclusion of Timofei Bakitski and his 2.61 ERA, 29 saves, and 2.0 wars from the ballot, despite missing the last 6 weeks of the season.
