This isn't much of a decision for me. I'd go Hinson too.

Both have their negatives. Hinson is a righty and has about as long a way to go to mature as you can get. Cavazos' velocity tops out at only 89 but has the makeup of a nice starting pitcher. If it were between those two, I'd probably go Cavazos just because Hinson has so far to go to develop.
I personally like Raines over Hinson due to his switch hitting ability. But both suck defensively. Of course with Raines, you have to notice his Contact potential jumped from 3 (2016) to 9 (2017)

Holy crap, that's true.
I couldn't draft a guy who's 1-1-1-1-1. Not #1 overall. And I'd also rather have Raines than Hinson, though it's a tough call. Still Cavazos for me.

Cavazos being fragile and with weak velocity scares me a bit. Im sure he will gain some mph but im not sure how much and he could easily flame out if he gets injury riddles. I always have gone with the elite pitcher over the hitter but im actually leaning toward hinson right now. As far as being 11111, I do believe that was what
Joey Rosko was and he seems to have turned out alright.

Cavazos plays for the Hamburglers... That has to count for something, right?

Hinson it is. Too much potential too pass up. Plus now every season I can get random trade offers from recte because he wants Riley's kid.....

Thought we got rid of that rule several seasons ago. Probably haven't updated the Constitution.

I know I have a const update that I had Kyle write for me about 2-3 seasons ago that I still haven't done.
Maybe in the next day or two I can get that thing cleaned up.

It can be called the "Hinson Rule"

Numerous times I haven't traded just drafted players because of this rule...it would seem weird to change it unilaterally now...

I might be mistaken. At this point the rule still stands, and probably will keep doing so. It dawns on me the reason for the rule is to prevent manipulative draft pick trading when we don't allow draft pick trading.
