"New GM in Cairo" will soon be a topic in League Announcements

I've enjoyed running Cairo for a few virtual years. I think I made it more competitive. But I think running a UMEBA franchise long term would be a daunting task. On the other hand, it's a great experience for someone waiting for a BBA franchise. I am not. Been there, done that. Now my wife and I are planning a new life adventure that involves selling our house, buying and moving to a condo, and, more excitingly, leaving the USA for a year to live in rural County Kerry, Ireland. Could we stay less time or longer than a year? Maybe. Anyway, at age 79, the whole process will be challenging. I'm up for the challenge, but there will be no time in the next few months to be running a BBA or UMEBA franchise. So I'm resigning the Cairo GM position effective immediately.

Good luck to everyone in the BBA and UMEBA. As always, it has been a pleasure being part of it. I know I sometimes (always?) aggravate some. Sorry about that. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year one and all.
