Damn, Tyler, bad luck on Baez. That sucks.
Well, I did say we were likely due for more injuries after a healthy 2036. Down to the 3rd string CF and pissed away a year of a #2 SP we paid a premium for (just hope he isn't ruined by the injury).

Manuel Martinez with 4 HR this sim. Loving that the game calls him the 29th best 1B while also predicting he'll be a top hitter in the JL. Peter Grady continues a hot start and he has nearly as many IP as our starters 2 weeks in. Pretty amazing that we found a way to win a couple and be even in run diff in a sim where we hit .210/.281/.392 and our SPs weren't particularly good.

4-1, decent recovery from a "meh" first sim

2-3 sim. The slow, slow climb for the Goats continues. How long can a .252 BABIP continue with the 3rd lowest strikeout percentage (by only 1 K) in the JL? 6th lowest strikeout percentage in all the BBA and the 6th lowest BABIP. Ugh. The pitching? Generally in the middle third of the league in almost every category.

Something has got to give. Maybe this homestand for the next sim will wake up some guys.

Curious to see why Madison only played 3 games when we had 6 on the schedule for that sim. We didn't play Mexico City.
The rains were in Madison this sim. At least for one of our games.

Winning sim followed by a winning sim. Sources tell me if that continues I may have a winning record.

The shops all round Kentucky Truck Plant Stadium have sold out of 'K' signs after the Sluggers fail to slug, strike out 82 times in 10 games and fall to the bottom of the power rankings, the first time I've been there for a long time

You think your BABIP is bad....

We're 2nd in the BBA in BB% but 14th in OBP thanks to our 28th ranked BABIP. It is also hurting our SLG as we're 4th in HR and 7th in ISO, but 14th in SLG. And San Fernando is worse than us.
