Also Leon Sandcastle could start in an All Star game at 39 years old.
Fun fact: Sandcastle is currently 8th all time in career WAR and is still 64 points off the #1 (Charles Puckett) spot. Puckett has more career WAR than #23 (Moronobu) and #24 (Heredia) combined. And #5 on that leaderboard is his former double-play mate, Bopper Kengos. Damn Wolves...

I know Wilson was the GM during part of the Kengos, Puckett era. If he was the whole time, he probably has a somewhat different OOTP experience than the rest of us. With that high of a peak, everything now must be some sort of surreal post fall environment where the colors aren't quite as bright and you KNOW that it just doesn't matter as much anymore. You perhaps somewhere hope for a return to glory, but that hope is small and feeble because in your heart you know the gods are dead and they aren't coming back.

Chris took the reins in Madison in 1999, Kengos' 4th BBA season, and Puckett's 3rd BBA season. So yeah, basically the whole time considering Kengos played in MAD until 2018 and Puckett until 2019.

Chris, of course was the LBC GM from 1995-1997, so he was in the league when they debuted.

1998 through 2010 were great years for Vancouver and Madison.
I remember them fondly.

California and Phoenix must be on unGodly runs right now for us to be 3rd in the power rankings. We've won 31 of our last 38. I wonder what our record is when scoring 4 runs or more vs the rest of the league's record when scoring 4 or more. That seems to be our magic number. I know that sounds like you should win most of your games when scoring 4 runs, but averaging 4 runs per game would put you about 28th in the league in scoring.

Just noticed that Eyechart has moved into a tie for 11th in career wins. He needs just 2 more to crack the top 10, and at 240 he stands a real chance at 250 if he can stay healthy.

Like I said last sim; I fully expect the bottom to drop out unless the stars (Martinez, Rutledge, Chavez) start hitting like they are expected.

5-1 and I don't think I gained any ground in my division. The JL Atlantic looking like the best division in the league right now.

Looks like the only thing I’ll get out of this season is a baseline of where Louisville is now. Something to aim to better in 2036. Pitching staff needs an overhaul (I know, English word. Meaning either to overhaul as in to overtake or to overhaul as in this engine is plain knackered, it needs a complete overhaul). Back end of bullpen needs to grow into it’s role. Brian Clough is on pace to hit the 3,000 mark at the end of August, just in time to ride the pines after roster expansion. A chance to explore DH’s that can do something else that knock out 20 hits a month

I'm pretty sure overhaul isn't restricted to the Queen's English. I use it/hear it often in our bastardization as well.

I've never heard it used with the meaning "to overtake" but the other meaning is definitely common here in the states.
