GUIDE: HOW TO EXPORT FOR THE FPL

Post by RonCo » Sat Aug 18, 2018 11:52 am

As most know, but for newbie's sake, the Florida Prospect League is a winter league that allows us to get some of our prospects a little extra development time. It is important to set your rosters prior to the sim—but that process is a little confusing, since (unlike other minor leagues) you must first create your FPL roster, and then export from both your BBA team and from your FPL team. You do this with the following process (note, there may be other paths, but this works):

Step 1: In the top tool bar, click on your name.
Step 2: Find and click “Manage” (which should show: “Currently: <YOUR TEAM>”)
Step 3: Change it to your FPL team
Step 4: Navigate to the FPL League, and then your team.
Step 5: In the top toolbar, click “FPL”
Step 6: Click “Select Tournament Rosters” and drag players you want to send to the FPL into the menu to the right.
Step 7: Click "Actions" and "Finalize Roster"
Step 8: Set up pitching roles and lineups
Step 9: Export

Is there anywhere you can check to see if you've exported? The export tracker doesn't have the FPL

Didn’t see the Select Tournament rosters option yet...

Maybe I missed it. I’ll check again tonight

You have to go to your team's transactions page. Seems to have changed since Ron wrote this.

I believe that if we're get to the last sim before the deadline, you'll get a notice. But this works in the interim. We really need to work out the schedule better.

I got an in-game message this last sim that it was the FPL deadline
