outbox

Post by jiminyhopkins » Wed Nov 15, 2017 6:20 pm

How long does a message typically stay in the Outbox before it is actually sent? I've had one in there since last night and it's not going anywhere. Kind of slows down trade talks. Is there any way we can eliminate this and just have the messages sent immediately?

I always assumed it's in your outbox until it's read.

I believe messages get stuck in the outbox when the recipients inbox is full.

this was my thought as well (whether it isn't read because they haven't logged on, or because their inbox is full).

if that was for me, it was in the outbox because i hadn't logged in yet.. A PM sits in your outbox til the recipient logs on, then it moves to their inbox. If you have one stuck, check to see if the person you are sending it to has visited the forums since you have sent it. They probably just haven't been on the forums. If they have, then like others have said its because the inbox is full.
