FA compensation

for FA compensation does the signing team lose their 1st/2nd round pick, or does the losing team just gain the supplemental pick?

you wont lose anything. The team losing the guy just gains.

That is the answer I was hoping for. Of course I cant spend anything until the Rodriguez trade goes thru and my new owner gives me a budget.
