New Schedule Coming for 2058
This is the formal announcement that the GB plans to implement the schedule that I created in order to improve some issues with the current schedule. Of course this could change if there's a mistake that I didn't catch, but it's the plan for now.
Here's the headlines:
Number of games against divisional (98) /inter-divisional (64) rivals remains the same. There are no interleague games.
There are no longer off days on Friday-Saturday-Sunday, and all teams share the same off days.
The season starts with intra-divisional play, series length is 3 games.
The middle of the season is inter-divisional play, series length is 4 games.
The end of the season is back to intra-divisional play, series length of 4 games.
I did my best to balance home/away throughout the season, 1st half/2nd half and month to month. (It's not perfect but it's much better than we have now)
After feedback from the polls, we have Saturdays with 4:10pm starts, Sundays with 1:10pm starts, and a few midweek 12:10pm "getaway day" games. All other games are 7:10pm starts.
I think that's the basics. In the future I may implement some other features like a "Sunday Night Baseball" feature matchup, or a PPT reward to customize your team's home game start times or other things that you all might want.
If you object, now is the time to speak up. Otherwise, please feel free to comment/ask questions/make suggestions. This was a labor of love and I'm really excited to present it to the BBA.
NB: I suppose I should note that there are some weekends that have a series end on Saturday and the next one begin on a Sunday. To me, this is inconsequential when provided with the alternative of the current schedule (some Fri/Sat/Sun off, unbalanced home/away throughout season, etc). So, I guess...do you care? I don't.

Thank you for the time and effort you put into this. It really does seem like a huge improvement over what we have been using.

This is by no means meant to discount your hard work, but just about ANYTHING would be an improvement on last year's schedule!
You worked your butt off on this, and I think the idea of PP for potential tweaks, IF FEASABLE, is a great idea.
Can't thank you and the board enough for continuing to work to keep this league fresh, vibrant, and fun!
