As we move towards the offseason and into the 2057 season, we are re-organizing the Governing Board a bit. Mike Neugebauer is stepping away from the GB for now, as time is at a premium for him. He still remains a huge part of the league and we hope to get him back on the GB at some point in the future. We are welcoming a new Governing Board member this year, David Burcicki of the Charm City Jimmies!! We have shuffled a couple of folks around, and have re-invented the position formerly known as "GBC Ambassador". Read on!

Here is the re-organized Governing Board of the Brewster Baseball Association:

Commissioner: Matt Rectenwald @recte44
The Commissioner is the leader of the Governing Board. He will direct and work with Governing Board members to guide the overall vision of the league, and help The Brewster improve and flourish. The Commissioner will ensure, along with Governing Board members, that the best interests of the league are protected at all times. The Commissioner will cast the tie breaking vote on any league issues.

Vice Commissioner/Historian: Stephen Lane @Lane
The Vice Commissioner, along with the Commissioner, is responsible for ensuring that all things happen that make the league go: simulating the games, maintaining the league file, updating the home page, and monitoring the forums. He is always available to answer questions about the league. He also serves as the Historian, maintaining the Unified History document and the Hall of Fame, as well as developing ideas for historical features and working with all league members to bring them to fruition.

League Directors: JL- Brett Golden @GoldenOne , FL- Mike Simon @CTBrewCrew
The League Directors work under the direction of the Commissioner to ensure that league members are informed, educated, and active in the community. The League Directors are responsible for Participation Point tracking, new General Manager on-boarding and development, and most importantly monitoring forum participation to ensure that all General Managers are fulfilling their participation obligations. Their efforts should ultimately work to achieve maximum engagement among the General Managers in their league.

League Advisors: JL- David Burcicki @DaveB , FL- James Walker @Jwalk100
The League Advisors work under the direction of the Commissioner and League Directors to ensure that league members are informed, educated, and active in the community. The League Advisors provide guidance and perspective of the membership as a whole in helping the Governing Board arrive at decisions on issues germane to league functions. The League Advisors will support the League Directors to achieve maximum engagement among the General Managers in their league.

Recruiting and Development Director: Chad Nason @Dington
The Recruiting and Development Director works under the direction of the Commissioner and is responsible for new General Manager recruiting, on-boarding and development of new General Managers, and increasing awareness of the GBC both within our universe and outside of the Brewster universe. The Recruiting and Development Director should ensure that GBC General Managers are informed, educated, and active in the community.

it's tough to admit this about a heartland GM, but @Dington has been doing AMAZING work for the league on the recruiting front.

Thanks for letting me join the Governing Board. If anyone has any questions or wants to chat my Inbox is always open. I’m usually pretty accessible through Discord also.

All joking aside, Chad has helped me a lot get acclimated to the BBA. Just a little division rivalry trash talk.
