Rule Change: IFA and Scouting Discoveries

We hope this is a temporary fix, but in the interest of making sure there are no loopholes, yet the league is both fun and easy to manage, this rule is now in place:

Effective immediately, International Free Agent signings are turned off. We have increased the Random Scouting Discoveries to "More (8 pr yr)"/

I’m cool with this. Not a fan of IFA in online leagues.

I always hated IFA. All the cash cows monopolized it even before the owner cash loophole. Totally not the leagues fault. More of an OOTP thing

Makes sense to me. I personally like IFA but if it's too much trouble to make work, then just make it go away. Matt and Co already do so much.

Sure. In real life you have an international scouting director that is reviewing the international prospect pool in each area they are scouting. In online leagues you basically have 1 sim where you have the chance to bid on players. You also have the chance to have issues like we had last season where a team spends a ton of money on the prospects which could/should cripple the teams finances for a few years whereas in real life you won’t see teams do things like that because of the repercussions with that issue.

I also wish that the signing period was longer for negotiations like free agency.
