2053-2054 Stadium Dues and Bonus Funds
Updates for beginning of 2052-2053 Offseason.
Here's the new links. I believe I have done this correctly, but please reach out to me with any questions or potential mistakes. Make sure you're looking at the correct sheet.
Stadium Dues
Bonus Funds
Bonus Cash Explained
Please Note:
I will give 1 season grace period for negative bonus funds.
If "Start of 2054" is negative, but "End of 2053" is positive, you are in the grace period. Please plan to rectify by Start of 2054.
However, if "Start of 2054" is negative and "End of 2053" is also negative, you are in the penalty period. Please rectify before Opening Day 2053 to avoid penalty. Exception: If you are in your first season with a new team, you will be allowed one season grace period regardless.

This does not have 2053 surplus figured yet, correct?

Your owner paid future expenses but did not take cash as profit.

Re: 2053-2054 Stadium Dues and Bonus Funds
I'm confused on this still. Our owner "took" ~$46m after the 2052 season. I assumed that excess money was pumped into Bonus Funds (up to $40m total).
I'm fine with it not, as it forces big money teams to spend PP on cash like everyone else when they go overboard on spending, but I'm confused on the difference between owner profits and future expenses.

Re: 2053-2054 Stadium Dues and Bonus Funds
can you show me where your owner took $46 million?
future expenses goes to salaries, buyouts, staff expenses etc etc
profit essentially goes away, out of the org/game
so we take profit and move it to bonus cash, but not money used to pay expenses because that would be double counting it

Re: 2053-2054 Stadium Dues and Bonus Funds
I think that $46m was just missed and not added to bonus funds as it was taken as profit according to: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=43881shoeless.db wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2023 9:38 amI'm confused on this still. Re: 2053-2054 Stadium Dues and Bonus Funds
Nashville capacity is 65,000, so I think my stadium dues should be more. Probably other teams that don't match. I'll look at it today.
