2052 - Media Guide Content

Now that the 2051 season is in the rear view mirror now, we need to shift gears towards the 2052 season.

With that said please start to thing about contributing to the best media guide in the land.

On a note will need someone (or two) to step up and take on the league preview that Aaron did in years past.

I can do the League Preview of one or both of the Frick Divisions. Figure I should try to avoid writing about my own division/team.

I'm good for 8 previews. Normally I do the GBC, so I can stick with that, or pick up a BBA division if needed.

I was thinking of doing a feature on BBA players that went to the UMEBA and GBC either to chase the money or as a second chance. I checked some past media guides and didn’t see something like that but maybe there have some forum posts. I love having lower-tier leagues in my personal fictional leagues and tracking player movement between them. What do you guys think?

That would be awesome to see some of the names from the BBA past.

You guys volunteering for previews….. take the Johnson League this year! As I pointed out in Mike’s work post, I’m in the process of potentially moving into an Assistant Principal and Athletic Director role at my HS. Won’t know for 2-3 weeks but I may not be available the next few weeks to write considering I do most of my writing…. At work.

Dang typing that out makes me realize I should keep that a secret before my interview.

I'm considering adding a new feature for Amateur Draft retrospective. Seems like Aaron had done draft reviews right after each draft and posted articles, but I'm thinking there might be more value in doing the retro for amateur drafts 6+ years in the past and grading the selections, and seems like it would be a cool feature for the Media Guide. Let me know if I'm duplicating something already written.

I'll take the Frick Heartland if someone else already hasn't started on it.

Can also do the whole Frick if we don't have enough writers.
