Jacksonville Salary Cap Violation Penalties
Apologies for a bit of a lag here, but Jacksonville had multiple consecutive sims over the salary cap, so they will be fined in accordance with the constitution. The amount taken will be $1,277,777.78, but since it is Christmas I think we can let him slide on the 78 cents.
Aaron please take this out of bonus cash.

Re: Jacksonville Salary Cap Violation Penalties
How does it work when I bring up minor leaguers to fill in for an injury?
Dio I have to cut someone to fall in line for future sims? Stephens is out for 3 more weeks and Dean is ou for 6.
Not debating the fine, but I made cuts to get under cap prior to those two injuries happened and just want to make sure I am not being overly negligent here.
Thanks

Yeah. Injured players count against the cap.DugoutDesperado wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 5:00 pmHow does it work when I bring up minor leaguers to fill in for an injury?

Re: Jacksonville Salary Cap Violation Penalties
I guess I worded my question poorly so let me try again.
I had to bump up Manokov to replace Dean. In doing so he gets paid the $500k instead of the $83K ish when he was in AAA. That extra $417k took me from being $174k under to $243k over cap. This will be the case for another 6 weeks.
Do I have to cut to keep from getting fined an additional amount?
Thanks

Yes. That is part of the risk about running a 27 man so close to the cap, you occasionally have to go a man or 2 short.DugoutDesperado wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 10:42 pmI guess I worded my question poorly so let me try again.

And to be clear, it is not allowable to just eat the fines and be perpetually over the cap.

Re: Jacksonville Salary Cap Violation Penalties
I think I am $257K under now.
One thing that I did not realize was when DeLeon went on IR from AAA that his salary toward cap went from $83K to $500K.
