Unfortunate News Regarding Dusty King

Post by recte44 » Sun Dec 05, 2021 8:20 pm

Fellas, it's with a heavy heart that I bring you this news. Our newest GM, Dusty King, has passed away. His wife notified Neil Thomas (who used to be with us here) in his other league, PEBA, and Neil shared the news with us. It was an unexpected death, as Neil said that he and others were talking baseball just 24 hours prior. We didn't get a chance to know him here in the BBA, but I know that Nigel and some of the other guys who were in PEBA did.

I'll be thinking of his wife and family. Rest in peace, Dusty.

On Friday Dusty was talking within the PEBA group about the lock out and his beloved Pittsburgh Pirates, close to 24 hours later we were informed by his wife Kate that Dusty had passed. She didn't give any reason, just he'd passed away and loved OOTP also Kate said she was greatful that the PEBA had let him join which I'm sure would be extended to the BBA.

Although only a short moment in time he seemed a decent man, a lover of baseball and a passion for the Pirates.

This is her message.

Hello my name is Kate and I am Dusty's wife. It is with a heavy heart that I write this to let you know that Dusty has unexpectedly passed away last night. I know he was only in this group for a short time but I know he was excited to get to know each and one of you as he spoke about this game all the time. Dusty will be greatly missed and we appreciate you including him in your game.
