In an effort to increase writing, the Governing Board hereby decrees this:

Player Links are now only required in official Transaction posts (Trades, PP, etc.). They are no longer required for Team News, Features, etc.

We recommend that you put a link to your Team Page in HTML in your signature.

Removal of links is the start of a slippery road to the end imo. People have managed to link their articles for several real life decades and meet their targets, next it will be only one article a season as “it’s too tiring to write for more than five minutes in a three month season “?

Perhaps just make the UMEBA a link-free league? Then all the GMs unable to link can “un-link” there to their hearts content while the BBA gets on with its traditional business?
