I’m really hoping my sons do t like MCU. I forced myself to watch all the movies during quarantine and I hated it.

I loved all the MCU movies for the most part (disapointed in Black Widow - should have come out at a different time) - it just seemed like an afterthought. I mean this is right up there with Thor Dark world. I get it they are using this to jump start the next phase of the MCU, but i really don't connect to any of these characters. Perhaps I'm a bit biased, I didn't like the comic series - thought that was boring, a 2nd rate new gods. Not one of Kirby's best work at all.

Next MCU movie I really want to see is the next Spiderman (supposedly amazing) or Guardians 3.

I'd say through Endgame, Iron Man 2 & 3 were really bad along with Thor: Dark World (TDW). I don't remember hating TDW like most but it's definitely not as good at the first movie or Ragnarok which is in my personal top 5. Black Widow was fine. I haven't gotten around to seeing the last two (or 3 if you count Venom 2) but I've heard Eternals is bad. Based on the trailers, I'm not surprised. So good luck.
