GM Change, El Paso Chilis/Riyadh Red Crescents

Post by recte44 » Sun Mar 07, 2021 7:41 pm

Alrighty folks, Nigel has touched base with me and it's time for him to step back just a bit. So....he's giving up El Paso and will be going to the UMEBA.

We are happy to announce Rich Young @RichY will be jumping up to the UMEBA to take on the challenge that is El Paso (well, at least they are El Paso for now...)

@Fat Nige will be taking over the Riyadh Red Crescents.

Thanks everyone, and Matt, losing 550 odd games and Vic just got on top of me. You could see from my TN output over the last season that my enthusiasm had completely vanished and I was one step away from chucking it all in. It’s really soul destroying having just one or two winning sims a season. I couldn’t turn the ship round no matter what I did. El Paso need some fresh ideas, and I’m completely out of them. Thanks to Rich for taking them on, I’m sure a good GM will have them turned around by the end of the decade.

Also, thanks to the UMEBA for their welcome, it’s changed a lot since I spent 2039-2041 with the now defunct Cairo Chariot Archers. I look forward once more to contributing to its growing history. First thing I have to do is learn how to Pronounce Riyadh and learn about my new team.

Thanks everyone once more for your understanding

I think El Paso is headed in the right direction. @RichY will surely be able to continue making strides, but @Fat Nige definitely set him up with a nice foundation. Best of luck to the both of you.
