Im expecting the final PP count today. After that...I will make any needed GM changes and post our offseason schedule this evening.
It all hinges on the PP count.

Aaron informs me the PP Count is in the midst of being wrapped up. Some news later today on the offseason.

Over/Under on the season starting in January? I'll find an off-shore site we can use for wagers

It'll start tomorrow evening. Tying up some loose ends today, but almost set to sail with 24 GM's + a couple EBA teams being filled.

Speaking of which, I was going to ask you if I could have your express permission to rebrand my team this off season. If not, I could do it in a year.
And: can a team that does rebrand itself, how long before it could relocate? is there a minimum on this; I know there is a five-year wait before rebranding again (not that I have plan to do that).

Al: You sure you have enough PPT to do this?

Define rebrand. Are you talking new logo and uniforms? Or renaming the team and moving it?

Rebrand = new logo and uniforms
Move = move and probable rename (could keep same team nickname, although doubtful: Tucson Tropics, unlikely)
But anyway, so my question is
a) could i rebrand this off season - even though I haven't been a GM for two seasons, and
b) if I did rebrand, either now or in a year, how soon after that could I move the team to Tucson or El Paso or Denver or ...

a) yes
b) as soon as next year

Thanks.
Just to make sure we are on the same wave length, a move would also involve new uniforms and logo. So you are saying we could rebrand now and also do an implicit "rebrand" in a year along with the move?
But we are not in a hurry to move because we like our 50,000 seat stadium and rather big fan base. Plus if we moved, we would just be mediocre at a different location...
We = the team

K, thanks.
I've been looking at new logos and uniforms. It's a nice way to increase Fan Interest, for a month at least...

I've been curious about this. Lets say Al moves his team all the way to the east coast of the US. would we realign or just have some god awful road trips?

Actually it wouldn't matter much
Vancouver to Hawaii by air: 2,600 miles
Vancouver to New York City by air: 2,443 miles

I have to stay in the general 1/3 western region of the USA/Canada, per a Western Division team. That is the (wise) word from Recte. So a move to the western 1/3 of the continent would cut down on the existing gawd awful trips--which is what led the Tropics to buy a Concorde this past preseason.
