Same. This league would suck without you actually playing.

Re: Rockville IFA snafu
I will reiterate yet again that no this isn’t a storm and no I’m not accusing anyone of anything nefarious. I’m merely pointing out, after what you pointed out about having commish power turned on, that it doesn’t make sense for that to be turned on on multiple GM profiles.
The Dunn thing wasn’t player option. It was a weird structure that my owner wouldn’t let me replicate. It was like 10/10/30/10/30/10. If you had commish power on it makes sense that you got it through whereas my owner balked.
Also am I to assume that as a league we are now incapable of questioning anything politely without it being registered as some sort of attack?

I'm with you on this. I don't think anything funny is going on but it's a valid question.bschr682 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 1:56 pmI will reiterate yet again that no this isn’t a storm and no I’m not accusing anyone of anything nefarious. Also.. you can have a commish profile and GM profile. So the "I'll just drop Nashville line is silly." I'm in a league that does that so a mistake doesn't accidentally happen. Because we are all human and they can from time to time.

Re: Rockville IFA snafu
Thanks for reminding me. Now that I remember what the question was at the time, I do recall having to work and rework that particular deal several times to find one that he'd accept by repeatedly unzipping the game and testing stuff out. It was quite a job if I recall. And I think it was actually a vesting option at 30 million, not a player option.
All I did remember was paying a freaking fortune to buy it out.
It's possible that you're right, but that sort of contract is more grey area than black and white, and it was forty-seven versions ago so hard to say.
However...
There is no reason why my GM account needs commish access. That's actually true. It never occurred to me we could have a separate commish account.
So yes, I'd definitely support my having a GM profile and a Commish profile separate from each other. I'd be happier knowing that everything I do is on par with the rest of the league without having to guess or double check.

See no kerfuffle at all. Asked a question, got a legit answer. Thanks Aaron.
Also this means Seabass was the original Mitch Dalrymple... just totally bombed at a young age once they got paid.

Re: Rockville IFA snafu
First off — look both ways Recte. Secondly it’s better to say “if I won Mega Millions” powerball tomorrow...
I got no problem with this - ran a FFL league for 15 RL years - my bro in law was commish - I was vice commish and we had one other (to break ties) regarding stuff. But it was helpful if he went away on vacation or honeymoon, etc I was able to run it and kept the league running.
Total transparency by the GB Thank you Aaron and Matt
Thank you Brett for speaking up. "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."
