I think I’ll miss a boat load of the new sims. The Thursday sim will run about 2 am my time and the Friday sim will run around 2pm. I rarely get up these days as a retired old fart before midday so I just don’t have enough time to d/l the sim, watch and react to it and make all my changes.
It’ll screw all my writing as well, but hey let’s speed up the season where we’ve got nothing but time. Ruin the immersion and let’s stop all the writing

If your teams start losing next season, how many more sims will you guys want to put in to get through that season? Whey not got the whole hog and go seven sims a week or two a day even?
I’m so disappointed in you all, why is the big rush? An excuse not to write? What is so great about accelerating the season and giving yourself less time to immerse yourself in the BBA world

Let me get this straight GMs want more sims to fill their time due to the lockdown, I'm betting most GMs tinker with their teams so spend less time on exports over articles. However you get deducted pp for not exporting so in the end GMs will export but cut down their article writing. I'll give good odds activity board wise will drop whilst the throw away stuff on slack will increase,

Also why do we have league polls? The vote was against having an extra sim, kind of defeats voting doesn't it?

The poll was non-binding. Matt, as commissioner has every right to sim as often as he wants. In this case he has support of a large portion of the membership in favor of temporarily adding an extra sim a week.

There is no PP deduction for missing a sim.

I really don't see how an extra sim makes a significant difference in how much the league writes. If you wanna write less, write less.

More sims means more guys on the boards more often, IMO.

The key word here, Nigel, is temporary. Its a temporary change. If you want to write, write. Everyone has their own priorities and time commitments for the BBA - you be you and we will all get through this temporary change before you know it.

The key word here, Nigel, is temporary. Its a temporary change. If you want to write, write. Everyone has their own priorities and time commitments for the BBA - you be you and we will all get through this temporary change before you know it.

How TEMPORARY is temporary? They're talking September 2021 before a vaccine is available, what if it that is the length of the lockdown? People are optimistic but it will quite possibly be six months minimum before lockdown is lifted, would you call that TEMPORARY?

On the writing front, yes I want to write, but it's becoming impossible due to the time constraints, the sims will be coming too fast to write all I want.

The missing of a sim is more important than PP, it could mean the loss of a player who's cleared waivers but not been reassigned. He's released tabbing you with a big salary eat. Or perhaps six extra losses because you've missed the chance to rep[lace an injured star player and now have faced a week with ootp deciding your backup catcher would make a good SS.

And I don't want to write less, I want more but my time's been cut thanks to an extra sim to process and export for. As for more people on the boards, more often, why? can they only go on the forums after a sim? If you want to go on the boards, go on the boards, don't wait for a sim lol. I can only see it benefiting Slack footfall, not the forums, another erosion of the BBA traditional values
