GM Change, Jacksonville Hurricanes
Tyler has been the Jacksonville GM for some time now, and has been one of the best GM's in the league. Over the last few seasons he's become so busy that participation has waned, resulting in two bailouts. Now with missed exports stacking up and nearly a month since last forum login, we are forced to make a move.
This sucks. Of course Tyler is welcome to return when he can. I hope that's sooner than later.
But...the show must go on. So to the UMEBA we turn and we have to make a tough choice from a bunch of qualified candidates. So who is the choice? It's Gregg Greathouse (DugoutDesperado)!
So, we welcome Gregg to the BBA! Meanwhile Beirut is now vacant. Lane has already started looking for a replacement in the OOTP Forums, and until then the world famous "League Control" will take charge of the Cedars.

Congrats Gregg!
I am in the Heartland Baseball League with Tyler. I haven't seen him in Slack there in a while but he has been exporting sporadically.

Re: GM Change, Jacksonville Hurricanes
I’m sorry to be a sore loser @recte44 but how is Greg the PP leader???
I have 17 TN, 13 regular League features and about four or more other league features plus 140 forum posts.
Greg has 18 TN, 2 league previews and 61 forum posts
How does that make him PP leader for the UMEBA???
Fair enough if you don’t want me in the BBA but don’t present Greg as something he’s not. I have around 80 PP compared to Greg who has around 40.
It’s not often I get really disappointed by this league but tonight, I really am. Not even a word from Matt on the situation even though he was aware how desperate I am to get back into the BBA.
I feel like I’ve just got a good kicking, what is the point in trying to be active?

My apologies to Nigel, he is the current PP leader. The GB chose Gregg at this time. I'm editing the OP.Fat Nige wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 11:04 pmI’m sorry to be a sore loser @recte44 but how is Greg the PP leader???

Re: GM Change, Jacksonville Hurricanes
Thanks for the warm welcome. Hoping to get the news update out later tonight. Been focusing on learning a bunch of new names up to this point. I agree with Ron. There are a lot of UMEBA-ites out there that are strong GMs in that arena. I am glad that I am getting to join some of the former UMEBA GM's and fully expect to be joined by others as the opportunities arise.
