Expansion Team GM's Revealed

We're happy to announce the identities of the Expansion Team GMs:

Charlotte will be Brett Golden (moving from Nashville).
Portland will be Chris Wilson (moving from Madison).

These two will be able to roll out their team names and logos/jerseys/caps now before the end of the season.

With those moving on, there are several more moves now planned in place, as follows:

I will be "leaving Las Vegas" (haha) and taking over Nashville. More to come on that.
Brett Schroeder returns to the BBA, he'll be taking over the Las Vegas Hustlers.

We have offered the Madison Wolves to Will (Mumbai) who has been the most active GM thus far in the UMEBA, and he has accepted.

This means that at the end of the UMEBA season we will have openings in Jerusalem and Mumbai.

Whew- a lot to soak in but it's nice to have the plan all finished and out in the open.

When do we plan to make the switches? I'm sure you'd like to get on board and set your roster for the expansion draft - though I would be happy to do that for you if you'd prefer.

We thought it would be wise to announce it right before the All-Star Break so at least the incoming GM's could have the right of refusal for any trades coming down the pipeline.

Officially the switch is after the completion of the Landis Memorial Series unless anyone involved prefers to switch now.

Excited for this new endeavor for me!

Will, I wish you the best of luck with Madison. I'll be putting all trade talks on hold now that this is revealed and freely turn decisions over to Will when it comes to those decisions.

Recte leaving Vegas up-staging me leaving Madison! haha

I had to double check to make sure Nashville wasn't in the Johnson Atlantic next year before being happy about this news. So yeah... it's awesome. Congrats to everyone involved. Sometimes you need to shuffle the deck to keep things fresh.

This was honestly me and I’m going to assume Recte as well. Been here for a long time and enjoyed my close to 40 seasons with Madison. But just felt I needed something new. I’ve ran Madison into the ground so time for someone else to fix it. Haha

Possibly. Unless Lee in Valencia has you beat.

I’m not sure the pecking order there. Recte was 1 with Vegas. Assuming You, Lee, and Myself all have been with our teams the longest after that.
