Congrats Vic, welcome to the big show. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the amount of free agents that will actually listen to you.
Sad to see Kyle go. I've always enjoyed the passion and perspective he brought to the league. Even if I didn't always agree. Hopefully he'll come back someday soon.

Re: GM Change, Huntsville Phantoms
Ha! Well, thanks guys. I'm sorry Kyle decided to leave, too, but I hope he made the right decision for him.
I will certainly be cluttering up the Huntsville forum with an assortment of ... um ... stuff just as soon as possible. Let it be known that one of my long-term goals is to find a way to use my elephant photo again.
I'll miss my gang that couldn't shoot straight in Mumbai and my stockpile of washed up pitchers, but look forward to mismanaging the boys in Huntsville.
Thanks again for the welcome, most of you. And sorry about that, Ted. If there's a decent Indian restaurant in Huntsville, I'll try to work it into a story ...

This is bullshit, we should slow our roll a bit. Nothing against Vic, but Kyle is a great GM... Give him some time to cool down. He's part of the reason I am here.

Re: GM Change, Huntsville Phantoms
I don’t know the circumstances of Kyle’s departure, but if there’s a chance that he would change his mind and want to come back and Matt and the board are cool with it, I am totally fine with going back to the friendly confines of Mumbai and the UMEBA. I like the league, I like my team and I had no burning desire to leave either behind.
At this point, I can’t even access Huntsville in-game and I haven’t posted anything in the Huntsville forum yet, so it’s all just as Kyle left it. I’ll hold off posting anything for a couple of days in case there are changes of heart.
If there are, I’ll be Mumbai bound. If there aren’t, I’ll slide over to Huntsville.
The main thing is, this is fake baseball. It’s supposed to be fun. If it’s not fun, there’s always stamp collecting.
