GM Change, Boise Spuds
My successful run as the Boise interim GM is over, as we welcome back Jeff Palin (Bumstead) to the league as the new Spuds GM.

I go by Goldie sometimes but I'm pretty sure I'm not the one you are thinking of.

Re: GM Change, Boise Spuds
I saw your post about Twin Cities in the other thread with Wareham, Limon and Man.
Your best pick was probably by accident, Chris Kelly in the 2nd Round, 2030 or 2031, not sure which. He gained a splitter in his 2nd/3rd year in the minors and his stuff bumped from 7 or 8 all the way up to 11-13.... He also survived the unexplained league wide movement lump most pitchers suffered a couple of season ago. I still think the league modified the baseballs for that.
Better lucky than good sometimes. Anyway, Twin Cities had a fabulous young core that was just getting ready to emerge when I took over. I was pretty lucky to inheret them. Basically, my best moves have been not trading any of them away and a lot a GM's sure tried to get me to when I took over... lol. I've just had to add key pieces here and there, but the core of the team has pretty much stayed unchanged.

Wow! Nice bumps. Looks like I drafted him right before I jumped ship. Players like him make this game fun!Spiccoli wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 10:58 amI saw your post about Twin Cities in the other thread with Wareham, Limon and Man.
