This will change how we draft too. If you guys don't know, because of Slack, you can set it up to get draft notifications to your phone. So you'll never have to be auto'd if you don't want to. It's amazing what it did for my other leagues draft. We get it done in about 2 or 3 days now.

As someone who is already straining his ability to make picks during the day, increasing the speed of the draft is definitely NOT something I'm interested in.

There's a balance. Too much speed reduces the time we need to be deep with our involvement, and make good choices. Too slow and attention wanders.

I hear ya. But with the new stuff we have, making picks on your phone or wherever is easier than before. I don't know what your availability is on stuff like that. But I can tell you we had the same issue and with this our autopick number went way down. And that league doesn't give as much time for picks as the BBA does.

Yep. If we use it how I've been used to, it'll make drafting easier for everyone while providing more stats for people. Also with the instant DM in there, you can talk trades easier. I think it's a good thing we're doing. And like I said before, Slack won't kill the forum as long as we don't let it. And I don't think this group will.

Just as TN rates are not the end-all of participation measures, the lack of auto picks is not the end-all of measured when it comes to quality of a draft.

Maybe not to some. I like making as many of my picks as possible and it was pretty tough with the previous way we did it.
