2035-2036 Offseason Compensation Thresholds

Type A Batters: 3.2 WAR
Type B Batters: 1.5 WAR

Type A Starting Pitchers: 4.4 WAR
Type B Starting Pitchers: 3.0 WAR

Type A Relievers: 1.4 WAR
Type B Relievers: 0.8 WAR

I'm assuming if a player is traded that wipes out any compensation, even if they hit the standards in the partial season with their new team? Wondering specifically about Jayden Harsnett.

What about a player you get off waivers? Would he be eligible? And if so, I'd assume that is what he did over the full season?

I think it's the same as with a trade. I believe a player must spend the entire season with the same team.
