Boise and Wichita appear not to. Recte will have to fix that, probably next year is my guess

I see the guide and I will go in tonight and try to assign my choice of roster. Although, I followed the guide last year and it reverted back to whatever roster it wanted...regardless, I have a question:

Are injuries turned off for this "tournament?" If not, I'm not inclined to let any of my "real" prospects participate. I will definitely include my minor league SP's that started 50+ games this season however...

Thanks for the info. I assume it would be silly to ask why turning off injuries for a minor league "tournament" is unreasonable and/or not something to consider? These players have already played a full season; I guess my main concern is for pitchers as I have already thrown them at least as many injuries as I deemed necessary.

Because you can’t turn injuries off for a single sub league.

Sounds like it could be a roadblock...Can Boise not participate in said tournament?

If a team had a bunch of shitty minor league guys around, one could choose to send them, I suppose.

Not an option. From everything I'm hearing from you lately it sounds like you just don't like the BBA.

ha...I don't like some things and I like other things. I'm not a sheep. I am surprised that you would think that I would have become a sheep.

I put in my team for the FPL like I was supposed to. I'm running low on time and this league doesn't offer a lot of flexibility and I feel like I am wasting time without seeing any benefit whatsoever on some of these "required" tasks. I know we have a group of GM's that want to spend their time on things like coaches, full minor league roster (with limits that complicate development) and this minor league tournament (which I guess some GM's find neat)...etc....

From my point of view, Boise is better off with me as the GM. I would like to see it through and not be the GM that comes in for 1 or 2 seasons and then leaves and then comes back and then leaves again...Beyond this, feel free to contact me via PM or I will give you my phone number and we can chat. I don't hate the league, but I have opinions that I share. I don't think that is a new development to my personality.

:plus1:

Note, you can just toss in a bunch of minor league filler to play in this if you want. Just pick guys with AA/AAA ability and no real long-term potential. You don't screw up the structure of the league by having a completely unrealistic roster, and you don't have to worry about injuries or paying attention to the team after selection.
