Several members of the Cairo organization won, or placed highly in the voting for GBC awards this season.

Blair Peyton was named the 2055 GBC Championship by Denny’s and Mako Worldwide MVP Award winner. He also won the GBC Great Glove Award for CF with a 15.3 ZR and 1.057 efficiency. Peyton won the batting title for the 2055 season with a .351 batting average. He also finished second in the voting for the GBC Position Player of the Year Award. Peyton’s 234 hits in 2055 were the second highest number of hits in a single season in GBC history.

Jim Herrick won the 2055 Great Glove Award for SS with a 19.9 ZR and 1.111 efficiency.

Liam Johnston won the 2055 GBC Reliever of the Year Award with a 2.62 ERA, 42 saves, and 2.2 WAR in 68 games.

Ray Whitney was named the 2055 GBC Manager of the Year. He lead the team to a 94-68 record, their first ever playoff appearance, and their first ever championship.

Herrick was a big reason we won the Championship in 54. He can't hit that well but his defense ratings are out of this world.
