The Pharaohs had an awful week on the field, losing 5 of the 6 games they played. Their lone victory was a fun one though. Cairo won 16-0 against Jerusalem, highlighters by Antonio Roman, who had three hits, including 2 home runs and a double, and drove in 7 runs. The winning pitcher in that game was Andresa Pires who improved his record to 5-2 on the season.

Statistically speaking, Cairo is at or near the top of the league in most categories in both offense and pitching. Despite that fact, the team has struggled mightily during the month of July, currently 8-13 since the calendar flipped.
