Buenos Aires signs new Manager; New look honoring their Country

Diego Agüero, BAB Sports Reporter - 07/15/2058

On July 1st, 2058 Buenos Aires Brisas owner Tariq bin Habib hired a new manager for their GBC organization. The 39 year old manager Adam Olson was hired to bring the Brisas back to Championship level ball. It's been nearly 7 years since the Brisas have made it to the postseason, where they claimed their first and only Championship in 2052.

The Brisas have a long history with the GBC, going back 15 years to their inaugural year in 2043. It was here where the Brisas finished in the bottom half of the standings but things would end up turning around for them in the next decade with 5 playoff appearances and that Championship. The Brisas have fallen on tough times recently and it is the hope that new management will bring success to the Argentinian squad sooner than later.

With new management comes change and accordingly to Manager Olson... "you must look good to play good." The Brisas have new Home & Away kits coming out of the All-Star Break. The kit/logo pays homage to the national futbol squad and the lone star showcases their '52 GBC Championship. Sitting at 4th place in the GBC currently, the hope is that they can make a move towards the postseason with some good vibes.

Several players are at the top of the leaderboards in terms of production throughout the league and there were 3 Brisas players that were rewarded with All-Star nods. Bin Wan- C, Geaney Fay - 2B and Kozma Gizikis-3B are part of an impressive infield put together by former management and new Manager Olson will look to lock down these three, as well as others heading into the offseason.

The current buzz around the team in town is growing. Season ticket percentage has raised almost 19% since last year alone. Sitting at 3rd in attendance this year so far, the hope is that with a playoff push coming up, the entire town of Buenos Aires will come together to bring the Brisas back to the promise land. Only 4 games separate the top 4 teams in the GBC so anything can happen down the stretch.

Congratulations to the 2058 Brisas All-Stars!

Well done. I highly recommend titling your team news with year and TN# so you get credit for PPT. Something like: Buenos Aires signs new Manager; New look honoring their Country | 58.01
