Well, a return to the 1- or 2-run losses. The bullpen has been shaky and the starting pitching is starting to falter. Maybe it's regression to the mean. Maybe some guys in the rotation have just had a rough start, but the team should be overcoming those kinds of things.

The fun of promoting a guy for his debut is nice. For him to give quality outings is even nicer. Badr is proving GM Ben Teague made the right choice in promoting him now. He might get those final bumps on his profile, and could probably get them in AAA, but he is quietly taking care of business in the bigs.

Brisas first baseman seems to be taking his frustrations out on the baseball. He was amazing in Sim #6 with a slash of .435/.480/.957 that included 3 2B, 3 HR, 8 RBI. We can't say Torres has been mashing the ball the last few weeks, but he definitely did over the course of Sim #6.
