Buenos Aires Brisas 14-12 .346, 7.5 GB L10: 5-5 Strk: L2
# of sheep delays: 3 (suites 2, vistor's dugout)

A winning Sim #3 and the first series win of 2056! The Brisas went 4-3 and took 3 of 4 against Sao Paulo. One of the losses to London went 10 innings so they weren't far off of a win in that series. The pitching and defense were fantastic which allows the team to stay in games. And we'll be fair and admit the offense did post 6 runs per game this Sim, but the team racked up a lot of runs in blowouts. This team needs to learn how to win close games.

Sao Paulo 3-5 L
Sao Paulo 8-1 W
Sao Paulo 12-1 W
Sao Paulo 7-3 W

Following 1-6 and 2-4 Sims, Buenos Aires needed some faint light of hope. It didn't start well as P Deron Alexander immediately gave up 2 runs in the 1st and another in the 2nd. But he bounced back and held Sao Paulo scoreless until they added a run in the 5th. These are the games the Brisas need to win. The next 3 nights were fun as Buenos Aires not only bagged 3 wins in a row they outscored the Pilots 27-4. In the 7-3 victory, not only did the Brisas score a run in the 9th to send the game to extras, starting catcher Miguel Hernández delivered a grand slam walkoff. And the pitching continued to hold its own allowing just 5 runs in the 3 games. The Brisas win the 4-game series and that is their first series victory of the season.

London 10-4 W
London 0-3(10) L
London 2-4 L

The offense had one more outburst in it as London threatened to run away in the first game of the series scoring 2 runs in the 1st and 2nd inning to take a 4-0 lead. Buenos Aires' offense then scored 2 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, 4 in the 7th, and 3 in the 8th to slowly salt the game away. But the team had no answer for London starter Mokichi Yamamoto in the 2nd game as they were shutout. The game did go into extras as Buenos Aires starter Deron Alexander held the Monarchs scoreless and just 1 hit thru 6 innings until the bullpen took over. All of it was for naught as closer Dani Martínez allowed 3 runs in the top of the 10th to overwhelm the Brisas. The Monarchs scored 2 runs in the 2nd and 6th innings to claim a close one. RP Taua Fatani allowed the 2 runs in the 6th that ended up being the winning runs.
