The Brisas were skidding hard coming into Jerusalem and they needed a good start on the mound from someone, and it just happened to be Jalil's 2nd start in his career. He shined for the Brisas allowing only 2 runs on 4 hits while notching 4 strikeouts. "It's a good feeling when a pitcher new to the starter role can turn in that kind of start. Especially given how much we need it right now," said GM Ben Teague.
