The Brisas have not only picked their tails up after a horrible, horrible August and they added quite a few names with the roster expansion. We'll see if any of them show up as a BotS.

BRISAS OF THE SIM - SIM #24

Pitcher

P Ostoja Omeragic
(AAA) 30 G, 23 GS, 10-13, 2 SV, 4.03 ERA, 167.1 IP, 117 K, +1.8 WAR

Once the calendar flipped over to September, everyone in baseball had to know new guys were going to be cutting their teeth to start getting in sync with a soon-to-be-exploded roster. But nobody knew the names until the last minute and Ostoja Omeragic got the bonus news that he would get a start during the Sim. It came at home vs Sao Paulo and it was easily the most dominant, confident pitching performance we"ve seen from the Brisas at least since the All-Star game. Omeragic did walk 3 batters so a perfect game was out of the question, but he didn't allow his first hit until the Pilots Wan-ling Koo registered a leadoff single. He earned the win 1-0 as opposing pitching was stellar as well. Omeragic threw 103 pitches with 66 for strikes.

Batter

1B Odemar Lock
123 G, 12 2B, 32 HR, 62 RBI, 142 K, .245/.332/.500, +2.1 WAR

Buenos Aires catcher Ramelan Sartika had a great Sim slashing .318/.348/.545 and delivering 2 2B, 1 HR, and driving in 4 runs. But Odemar Lock has been playing at another level the last couple of Sims. Here, he hit .462/.533/.808 and smashed 2 HR driving in 6 and scoring himself 8. He also had 12 hits which was more than any other Brisas.
Ben Teague, GM Boise Spuds

11 Playoff Appearances, 1 Championship
